Citigroup has appointed BlackRock portfolio manager Kate Moore as chief investment officer of its wealth business, Bloomberg News reported November 26, citing an internal memo from business head Andy Sieg.
Moore, who served as the thematic strategy head for BlackRock's $50B global allocation business, will succeed interim CIO Steven Wieting, who will continue as chief investment strategist and economist for Citi Wealth.
The appointment will take effect in February 2025. In the new role, Moore will oversee the bank's global investment committee and the wealth business's sustainable-investing team.
