Prudential Financial said it has named former Morgan Stanley Investment Management executive Jacques Chappuis as the new president and CEO for PGIM, the firm’s global asset management business, effective May 1, 2025.
Chappuis succeeds outgoing President and CEO David Hunt, who will continue on as chairman until July 31, 2025. He most recently served as co-head of Morgan Stanley’s investment management unit and before that had stints as global head of distribution and co-head of solutions and multi-strategy investment management.
In his new role at PGIM, Chappuis will work under Andrew Sullivan, head of international business and global investment management for parent Prudential Financial.
