North Square Recruits New Midwest Region Lead from American Century

Chicago-based North Square Investments has recruited Steve Gongola as vice president and regional director, where he will be responsible for sales and asset retention with financial intermediaries in the firm’s Midwest region.

Gongola joins from American Century Investments, where he served as a regional vice president. He brings two decades of experience in the industry, holding prior positions with regional coverage in KBS Capital Markets Group, Innealta Capital, Tricone Pacific Capital Partners, Prudential, and Goldman Sachs. He has represented mutual funds, SMAs, REITs, private equity, and ETFs across a variety of channels, including independent broker dealers, wirehouses, RIAs, and retirement plan advisors and consultants.

Gongola will be based in the Chicago area and report to Head of Distribution Phil Callahan.
