LPL Financial Welcomes Northern Plains Financial

LPL Financial has added Northern Plains Financial to its broker-dealer, RIA, and custodial platforms, according to a September 9 news release.

Founded by Michael Elsberry in 2014, Grand Forks, ND-based Northern Plains Financial manages approximately $225M in assets and primarily focuses on serving the farming and ranching community.

In the news release, Elsberry said he made the move to LPL for its advanced technology platform and enhanced financial planning tools.
