Newport Beach, CA-based private equity investor L Squared Capital Partners has announced the closing of a single-asset continuation fund related to its investment in data-solutions provider FineLine Technologies.
With the continuation fund, L Squared Capital secured its stake in the tech firm, subsequent to active investments made through L Squared’s $500M buyout Fund III and an affiliated co-investment vehicle with Leonard Green & Partners. Kline Hill Partners, StepStone Group, Churchill Asset Management, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management co-led the funding round. The total amount was not disclosed.
Robert W. Baird & Co. served as financial advisor to L Squared for the transaction. VedderPrice provided legal advice to L Squared, while Stephenson Harwood LLP acted as legal advisor to the four co-lead investors.
