Crescent Capital Group announced that it plans to establish a new office in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2025, strengthening its presence in the DACH region of Europe, which includes Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The move is a part of the credit investment manager’s goal of bringing its alternative credit strategies to institutional investors and family offices in Europe. Crescent appointed Michael Sauerbrey, who joined the firm in October, to lead the Frankfurt office, serving as managing director and head of the DACH region.
Los Angeles-based Crescent is part of SLC Management, Sun Life’s institutional alternatives and traditional asset management business. As of September 30 it managed $43B in assets.
