Houston-based sustainability investor Bridgeway Capital Management announced it has appointed Seema Ackerman as head of distribution, marketing, and client service.
Ackerman joins from BlackRock, where she was a managing director and head of the firm’s OCIO and central family office business. Prior to BlackRock, Ackerman developed and implemented investment strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients at multifamily office Oxford Financial Group.
In her new role with Bridgeway, Ackerman will be responsible for expanding the firm’s distribution channels, as well as marketing initiatives, messaging, and client services. Bridgeway manages approximately $4.3B across six mutual funds and two ETFs, along with separately managed and sub-advised accounts.
