AXA Investment Managers Names UK CEO

The investment arm of insurance giant AXA announced on November 18 the promotion of Ouajnat Karim to CEO of its UK operations.

AXA Investment Managers said Ouajnat will formally succeed Marcello Arona, who is leaving the company after more than 20 years to pursue other opportunities, on December 11, subject to regulatory approval. Ouajnat will assume the responsibilities of the UK CEO while retaining her current remit as global head of oversight and COO for the UK at AXA IM Core.
