The Arizona Fund Manager Association (AFMA) has appointed Benjamin Vega as its first executive director to lead the nonprofit organization of fund managers across the state.
An Arizona native, Vega transitioned to AFMA’s leadership team from Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, where he most recently served as senior development officer. In his new role, he will be expected to drive strategic direction for the organization through initiatives to attract fund managers and develop the state investment landscape.
The AFMA houses a network of Arizona-based fund managers overseeing approximately $15B in assets.
