Khizar Hayat

Chief Data & Chief Operating Officer

Khizar Hayat is the Chief Data & Chief Operating Officer at Dakota, where he leads the company’s mission to deliver highly differentiated data to clients worldwide. In this role, he is responsible for driving product innovation, expanding market reach, scaling operations, accelerating new product development, and advancing customer analytics. Khizar joined Dakota in March 2025.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Data Management and Strategy at Octus, where he was instrumental in transforming the firm from an editorial business into a data-driven enterprise. Before that, Khizar held global leadership roles at S&P Global, where he led the order-to-cash transformation program, oversaw the Integration Management Office during the S&P Global–IHS Markit merger, and managed global data operations. Earlier in his career at SNL Financial, he established a business operations center and developed data management capabilities that fueled growth and operational efficiency.

Khizar holds an MBA from a leading university in Pakistan. Outside of work, he enjoys watching his children play soccer and staying active at the gym.
