U of Kentucky Endowment Invests $66M in Private Equity, Infrastructure

The University of Kentucky Endowment has committed $66M to private equity and infrastructure investments, according to recently published minutes from its June 13 board meeting.

The endowment’s commitments include $20M to Kline Hill Partners Solutions Fund II, a private equity secondaries fund, and $20M to Digital Alpha Fund III-A, a global private infrastructure vehicle. The university endowment also allocated $15M to Sterling Group Partners VI, a middle-market buyout fund, and $11M to Centana Growth Partners III, a growth-focused private equity fund.

In the same meeting, the board also approved a full redemption from the Pelham Long/Short Fund, marking a termination of the manager relationship.

Per Dakota data, the University of Kentucky Endowment oversees $2.1B in assets.
