Trinity Ventures announced on January 6 that it closed its multi-asset continuation fund, Trinity Ventures 2024, with $435M in total commitments.
The fund was established to recapitalize portfolio companies from the 2012 vintage fund Trinity Ventures XI. It will support 15 portfolio companies, including BirdEye and Cohesity.
Swiss private equity firm Partners Group participated in the fundraising, becoming a limited partner of the fund and joining co-lead investors Portfolio Advisors and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
The early-stage technology venture capital firm tapped Jefferies to be its exclusive financial advisor in the fundraising and Cooley LLP as its legal counsel.
