Grants Pass, OR-based serial RIA investor Kingsview Partners is eyeing the sale of a minority stake and has reportedly retained an investment bank to assist in the process, according to a November 26 report by Citywire.
In addition to its core wealth management services, Kingsview Partners manages a range of ETFs, including factor-based and dividend-focused funds, contributing to its $4.8B assets under management. For the equity sale, Kingsview has retained Republic Capital Group as its investment banker, an unnamed source told Citywire, adding that the sale of a controlling stake in the company is one possible outcome for the firm despite prioritizing a minority stake sale.
Republic Capital CEO John Langston told the publication the firm is looking for a partner to help fuel additional M&A growth as opposed to arranging an exit or liquidity event for shareholders.
