Prospect Capital Boosts Investor Access to its CEFs and BDCs via iCapital

Prospect Capital Management said it is expanding investor access to its closed-end fund and business development company offerings through a partnership with financial technology platform iCapital.

The alternative investment manager's CEF and BDC opportunities will be made available on iCapital Marketplace as part of the collaboration. Prospect Capital CEO John Barry said the team-up will support the expansion of the firm's private wealth network.

Prospect Capital and its affiliated registered investment advisors manage approximately $11.9B of assets. The firm focuses on middle-market direct lending, real estate private equity and credit, structured credit and middle-market buyouts.
