Chicago-based healthcare investor Linden Capital Partners’ latest buyout strategy is targeting a $4.5B fundraise, according to a September 27 Form D filing.
The target for Linden Capital Fund VI represents a 50% increase over the $3B raised by its predecessor fund. Fund VI is the latest in the firm’s flagship middle-market buyout series targeting healthcare investments across services, products, and distribution. Linden Capital’s predecessor fund drew widespread interest from US public pensions, according to Dakota data, including a $150M commitment from the New York State Teachers Retirement System and $85M from the Texas County & District Retirement System.
PJT Partners and Magenta Capital Services are serving as placement agents for Fund VI, according to the Form D filing.
