CDIB Capital Group announced on January 24 that it closed its China-focused mid-market buyout fund focused on continuation opportunities, CDIB NexGen Partners Fund.
The Asia-Pacific private equity and asset manager said the fund generated support from institutional investors worldwide, including private markets firm StepStone Group and Asia-focused private equity investor AB Value, which led the continuation vehicle aspects of the fund.
CDIB Capital executes its investments based on its core strategies of venture and growth capital, private equity and private credit. The firm has over NTD 75B (~$2.29B) of AUM and more than 200 companies in its portfolio.
In a news release, the firm said its latest fund is strategically positioned to capitalize on compelling opportunities in Asia with the help of its expertise and connections in the advanced manufacturing sectors. The NexGen Partners Fund will target mid-market companies with robust growth potential.
