1. Hologic - Take-Private / Public-to-Private
Blackstone and TPG will acquire Hologic, Inc., a global leader in women’s health, in a deal valued at up to $18.3 billion, offering shareholders $76 per share in cash plus up to $3 per share in contingent value rights tied to revenue milestones. The transaction, which includes minority investments from ADIA and GIC and represents a 46% premium to Hologic’s prior closing price, aims to accelerate the company’s growth and innovation in women’s health technologies.
2. Prolec GE - Strategic Acquisition
GE Vernova announced it will acquire the remaining 50% stake in Prolec GE from Xignux for $5.275 billion, consolidating full ownership of the grid-equipment manufacturer and strengthening its leadership in the rapidly growing electrification and grid markets. The acquisition—expected to close by mid-2026—will expand GE Vernova’s North American footprint, accelerate growth in its Electrification segment, and deliver immediate accretive financial impact as global electricity demand surges.
3. Creed Boutique - Strategic Acquisition
L’Oréal will acquire Kering’s beauty division for €4 billion, including the luxury fragrance house Creed and long-term licenses for Gucci, Balenciaga, and Bottega Veneta, marking its largest deal to date. The transaction, expected to close in the first half of 2026, strengthens L’Oréal’s position in the ultra-luxury beauty market while helping Kering reduce debt and refocus on its core fashion brands.
4. RBL Bank - Strategic Acquisition
Emirates NBD will acquire a 60% stake in India’s RBL Bank for $3 billion through a preferential issue, marking the largest cross-border acquisition in the country’s financial sector. The deal will merge RBL with Emirates NBD’s local operations, significantly strengthening RBL’s balance sheet, boosting its lending capacity, and signaling renewed investor confidence in the private lender’s growth trajectory.
5. CenterPoint Energy’s (CNL Ohio) - Energy
National Fuel Gas Company will acquire CenterPoint Energy’s Ohio natural gas utility business for $2.62 billion, doubling its gas utility rate base and expanding operations into Ohio. The deal, expected to close in late 2026, adds 335,000 customers and 5,900 miles of pipeline, strengthening National Fuel’s regulated earnings base, supporting long-term dividend growth, and enhancing its investment-grade credit profile.
6. Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Pty. - Strategic Acquisition
The Coca-Cola Company and Gutsche Family Investments will sell a 75% controlling stake in Coca-Cola Beverages Africa to Coca-Cola HBC AG in a deal valuing the bottler at $3.4 billion. Expected to close by the end of 2026, the transaction advances Coca-Cola’s global refranchising strategy and positions Coca-Cola HBC to lead more than two-thirds of the system’s African beverage volume, expanding its footprint across 14 countries.
7. Xella - Strategic Acquisition
Lone Star Funds has agreed to sell Xella Group, a leading European provider of sustainable walling solutions, to Holcim in a transaction valued at approximately €1.85 billion. The deal, expected to close in the second half of 2026, marks the culmination of Lone Star’s strategic repositioning of Xella and will support Holcim’s continued growth in sustainable construction materials.
8. Avadel Pharmaceuticals - Strategic Acquisition
Alkermes will acquire Avadel for up to $20.00 per share in cash (including a $1.50 CVR tied to LUMRYZ™’s potential idiopathic hypersomnia approval by end-2028), valuing the deal at ~$2.1 billion and reflecting a 38% three-month VWAP premium. The acquisition—expected to close in Q1 2026 and funded with cash and new debt—adds the once-nightly narcolepsy therapy LUMRYZ™, accelerates Alkermes’ entry into sleep medicine alongside its orexin pipeline, and is expected to be immediately accretive at closing.
9. Securiti - Strategic Acquisition
Veeam Software announced plans to acquire Securiti AI for $1.725 billion, combining Veeam’s market-leading data resilience platform with Securiti’s Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), privacy, and AI trust technologies. The deal—expected to close in Q4 2025—creates a unified “data command center” that helps organizations securely manage, recover, and govern data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments while enabling safe, trusted AI innovation.
Crusoe, the AI factory company, announced it has raised $1.375 billion in an oversubscribed Series E round, valuing the firm at over $10 billion. Co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital with participation from major investors including NVIDIA, T. Rowe Price, Founders Fund, and Salesforce Ventures, the funding will accelerate Crusoe’s mission to power the next generation of AI infrastructure.
