Paris-headquartered Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI) Labs raised $1.03 billion at a $3.5 billion valuation in what is believed to be the largest seed round ever completed by a European company, co-led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital, and Bezos Expeditions, with additional backing from Nvidia, Samsung, Eric Schmidt, and Tim Berners-Lee. The six-month-old startup, founded by Meta's former chief AI scientist Yann LeCun, is developing AI world models as an alternative to large language models — focusing on physical reasoning and real-world prediction rather than the data-intensive generative approach pioneered by OpenAI and others.

7. Biocare Medical - Divestiture
