The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed six alternative commitments totaling $495 million.
$100 million was committed to the real estate fund, Pennybacker VI, managed by Pennybacker Capital Management.
$100 million was committed to the infrastructure fund, ISQ Co-Investment Fund, managed by I Squared Capital.
In private equity, $45 million was allocated to the buyout, Hg Mercury 4. $25 million was allocated to venture capital fund, GC Venture XI, managed by General Catalyst. $175 million was allocated to growth equity fund, TA XV-A. Lastly, $50 million was allocated to the buyout fund, Sherman Opportunity managed by Valeas Capital Partners.
