The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System (NYSTRS) recently approved $350M in commitments to private equity and infrastructure investments, according to recently published materials from its October 30 committee meeting.
The commitments were composed of $200M to Linden Capital Partners VI, a middle-market private equity buyout fund, and $150M to the OIC Structured Equity Fund, a US-focused private infrastructure fund.
As of October 2024, NYSTRS oversees approximately $143B in assets, according to Dakota data. The fund's private equity exposure stands at 9.55%, slightly above its 9% target allocation.
