The Louisiana School Employees’ Retirement System (LSERS) board approved $60M in commitments to private equity and private credit funds, according to recently published meeting minutes.
LSERS allocated $50M to HighVista Private Credit Fund III, a direct lending fund strategy within private credit.
The pension also allocated $10M to NGP Natural Resources XIII, a middle-market buyout fund strategy within private equity.
According to Dakota data, LSERS has a total fund value of $2.2B in managed assets.
