LACERA Invests $910M Across Three Funds

The Los Angeles County Employees’ Retirement Association has disclosed three investments totaling up to $910 million.

$675 million was approved for an investment in Waterfall Illiquid Credit Strategy. The strategy managed by Waterfall Asset Management will be invested in a dedicated managed account. 

$150 million committed to middle market private equity fund, Accel-KKR Capital Partners VII.

$85 million was approved for a secondary purchase in the agriculture fund, TIAA-CREF Global Agriculture. 

The three investments were approved at the December 14, 2022 Board of Investments meeting.
