LA Water Commits $150M to Private Equity

The Los Angeles Water & Power Employees’ Retirement Plan approved three investments to private equity, totalling $150 million per reports from the April 24th board meeting. 

A total of $75 million in aggregate funds was allocated to EQT funds. $50 million was allocated to EQT X USD SCSP. Additionally, $25 million was allocated to EQT Temple Street SCSP.

$75 million allocation to TPG Healthcare Partners II. The fund will invest in growth-oriented investments within healthcare alongside other TPG funds.

As of March 31, 2024, the $20.8 billion Plan allocates 13.5% to private equity.
