Chicago-based insurance investment solutions provider AAM Insurance Investment Management and real estate investment firm Affinius Capital have entered into a strategic partnership that will provide AAM client insurers access to Affinius’ commercial real estate (CRE) strategies.
The collaboration will combine Affinius’ real estate lending expertise with AAM’s existing CRE investment capabilities as AAM “seeks to design and deliver portfolio management strategies that meet clients’ long-term investment goals,” AAM CIO Tim Senechalle said in a statement announcing the tie-up. Affinius senior portfolio manager Alex Rapoport said the partnership will deliver “strategically prepared solutions to the insurance marketplace.”
To date, AAM oversees $24B in total AUM, while Affinius manages $64B in aggregate assets.
