1. Exact Sciences Corporation - Strategic Acquisition
Abbott is acquiring Exact Sciences for $21 billion, expanding into the fast-growing $60 billion U.S. cancer diagnostics market. The deal brings market-leading tests like Cologuard® and Oncotype DX® into Abbott’s portfolio, boosting its growth and positioning it to transform cancer care through earlier detection and precision treatment. The acquisition is expected to close in Q2 2026 and will be immediately accretive to Abbott’s revenue and margins.
2. Energetický Portfolio of Power Generation Assets - Energy
TotalEnergies has signed a €10.6 billion deal to acquire 50% of EPH’s flexible power generation platform across Western Europe, creating a 50/50 joint venture focused on gas-fired plants, biomass, and battery storage. The transaction strengthens TotalEnergies' Integrated Power strategy, enhances its ability to supply clean, reliable electricity, and is expected to be immediately accretive to cash flow while accelerating profitability in the power segment. EPH will receive €5.1 billion in TotalEnergies shares, becoming one of its largest shareholders.
3. Sealed Air Corporation - Take-Private
Sealed Air Corporation has agreed to be acquired by private equity firm CD&R in an all-cash deal valued at $10.3 billion. Shareholders will receive $42.15 per share, a 41% premium to Sealed Air’s stock price before deal rumors emerged. Once completed in mid-2026, the transaction will take Sealed Air private, supporting its strategic growth while keeping its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
4. Fair Financing loans - Asset Purchase
Klarna has struck a deal with Elliott Investment Management, which will purchase its U.S. Fair Financing loans in a $6.5 billion agreement over two years. This arrangement provides Klarna with off-balance-sheet funding to expand its U.S. consumer credit business while retaining all consumer-facing operations. The deal enhances Klarna’s financial flexibility and supports the rapid growth of its Fair Financing product, which has seen 244% growth in the U.S. over the past year.
5. Chronosphere - Strategic Acquisition
Palo Alto Networks has announced a $3.35 billion acquisition of Chronosphere, a next-gen observability platform built for the AI era. This deal enhances Palo Alto’s ability to deliver real-time, AI-driven observability and autonomous remediation at scale, combining Chronosphere’s data architecture with Palo Alto’s AgentiX technology. The acquisition, expected to close in the second half of fiscal 2026, will deepen visibility across security and performance data while driving cost efficiency for cloud and AI-native organizations.
6. Halda Therapeutics - Strategic Acquisition
Johnson & Johnson has agreed to acquire Halda Therapeutics for $3.05 billion in cash, gaining access to its innovative RIPTAC™ platform and a pipeline of targeted oral cancer therapies. The lead candidate, HLD-0915, is a promising treatment for prostate cancer, with potential to address resistance to current therapies. The deal, expected to close in the coming months, strengthens J&J’s oncology pipeline and signals a bold move into next-generation cancer treatment.
7. Intelerad Medical Systems - Strategic Acquisition
GE HealthCare is acquiring medical imaging software provider Intelerad for $2.3 billion in cash, expanding its presence in outpatient and cloud-based imaging solutions. The deal supports GE’s goal to triple its cloud-enabled product offerings by 2028 and accelerates its shift toward SaaS and recurring revenues. Expected to close in the first half of 2026, the acquisition enhances GE HealthCare’s portfolio across care settings while tapping into a $2 billion+ high-growth outpatient imaging market.
EQT Future has agreed to acquire a majority stake in DESOTEC, a leader in circular mobile filtration, from Blackstone, which will retain a minority interest. DESOTEC’s Filtration-as-a-Service model helps industrial clients remove pollutants from air, water, and soil, generating strong recurring revenues while delivering environmental impact. The deal will support DESOTEC’s continued European growth and accelerate its expansion in North America, with the transaction expected to close in the first half of 2026.
9. Power Solutions, LLC - Strategic Acquisition
Dycom Industries is acquiring Power Solutions for $1.95 billion, strengthening its position in the booming data center infrastructure sector. The deal adds 2,800 skilled workers and a leading electrical contracting platform with $1 billion in projected 2025 revenue, primarily from data center projects. Expected to close by fiscal year-end, the acquisition will be immediately accretive to Dycom’s EBITDA margin and earnings, while enhancing long-term growth, diversification, and free cash flow.
10. Semrush Holdings - Strategic Acquisition
Adobe is acquiring Semrush for $1.9 billion in an all-cash deal to strengthen its brand visibility and generative engine optimization (GEO) capabilities in the agentic AI era. The acquisition will integrate Semrush’s SEO and GEO tools with Adobe’s marketing products, helping brands remain discoverable across LLMs, traditional search, and digital channels. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
