Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds (CRPTF) is considering $1.1B in commitments across 11 funds, including $300M to Hg Saturn 4 A, $175M to Avance Investment Partners II, $100M to K6 Private Investors, and €135M ($148M) to ICG Europe IX. CalPERS disclosed nearly $11B in new commitments, allocating $4.1B to private equity, $2.45B to venture capital, $1.39B to infrastructure, $2.5B to private credit, and $326M to JSC Capital Partners in real estate. OMERS appointed Alexander Fraser as EVP and Global Head of Private Equity. Fresno County Employees’ Retirement Association replaced Western Asset Management (WAM) with Loomis Sayles as core fixed income manager, transitioning $330M. Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association (KCERA) hired Aristotle Pacific Capital for a $240M short-duration fixed income allocation, funding $180M so far. Memphis Light, Gas, and Water Division Pension Fund (MLGW) replaced J O Hambro with GQG Partners for a $46M international equities mandate.

Summit Financial made a minority investment in Gateway Advisory ($830M AUM), marking its 21st strategic investment since 2024. Turning Rock Partners provided $30M in expansion financing to Silverleaf Wealth Management, an LPL-affiliated RIA. UBS recruited Lin Reynolds from JPM Private Bank to serve ultra-high-net-worth clients in New York. True Path Capital Strategies acquired the Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho offices of Premier Wealth Strategies, expanding its regional footprint. Benjamin F. Edwards hired former Edward Jones advisor Kris Yarlett for its Morristown, TN office, along with financial associate Lisa Moffitt.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) closed its fifth flagship fund above its €12B ($13.06B) target, securing investments from New Mexico SIC, Norges Bank, NY State Common, and Ireland Strategic Investment Fund. TDR Capital is exploring a £2.3B continuation fund for David Lloyd Gyms, possibly introducing new investors. Avance Investment Management seeks to raise $1B for Avance Investment Partners II, following its $1.1B first fund. bd-capital closed bd-capital Fund 2 at €430M ($468.4M), exceeding its €350M target. KV Capital launched KV Building Products Access Fund, targeting Canadian housing construction investments with 14%-18% projected returns.

Other News

Informed Ventures launched as a spinoff of GSR Ventures’ U.S. business, assuming $300M in existing investments and managing $200M+ in capital. Led by Richard Lim, the firm will continue investing in AI-powered healthcare, SaaS, and consumer technology.
