NY State CRF Allocated $3.1B to PE, PC in November 2024

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (CRF) disclosed a total of $3.1B in commitments across seven funds ranging from buyouts to co-investments, according to its recently published November 2024 monthly transaction report.

The pension said it approved an allocation of €200M (~$205M) to large buyout fund Bridgepoint Development Capital V; €50M (~$52M) to Marble Arch Albany V Co-Investment; $150M to Francisco Partners VII Co-Investment; $300M to another large buyout fund Lindsay Goldberg VI; $250M to middle-market buyout Oaktree Power Opportunities Fund VII; and $2B to NYSCRF NB Co-Investment Fund III. 

In private credit, the New York pension also allocated $200M to FP Credit Partners III - NYSCRF Co-Investment. All deals were closed from mid- to late November of last year. 

As of the latest Dakota data, New York State CRF manages approximately $260B in total plan assets.
