Guam Retirement issued an RFP for a $100M diversified real assets mandate. Virginia Retirement committed $575M across three existing relationships in private equity, credit, and real assets. San Bernardino County is considering a $200M emerging managers SMA with Adams Street. Colorado Fire & Police committed $98M across five alt funds, and Houston Firefighters allocated $30M to Avenue Capital’s Asia distressed debt fund.

RIA and Wealth Channel News

PwC’s Global Family Office Study highlights a shift toward direct investments and sustainability, with 62% of deals now direct and 56% of capital targeting impact sectors. Procyon Partners secured backing from Constellation Wealth Capital. BFS acquired $350M Napatree Capital, and Sardis Group launched with $198M AUM. Rockefeller added two Merrill teams in Chicago, RayJay recruited a $225M advisor in WA, and Claypond hired former Microsoft India exec.

Private Fund News

Coller Capital raised a record $2.4B secondaries fund with Barings and Ares. GoldState Music secured $500M for music rights. Crayhill closed a $1.3B fund, Ansor reached £250M, and Archway launched a $100M real estate debt fund. Galaxy Ventures is on track for a $180M June close, while Humphreys Capital marked a $102M first close.

Other News

Castlelake and Invictus partnered to deploy $2B in residential mortgages. The deal builds on Castlelake’s growing real estate credit platform, following its February tie-up with Niam Credit.
