New 2ND Capital announced the $875M close of its third GP-led secondaries program, which included co-investment vehicles, exceeding the firm’s initial fundraising target.
Fund III attracted returning investors from its predecessor funds, as well as new participants from Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands, the firm said. More than half of the capital raised has already been deployed across six transactions and a seventh is expected to follow in the fourth quarter.
New 2ND is a buyout firm that invests in middle-market companies in the US through GP-led secondaries transactions and had over $2.3B in regulatory AUM as of June. FocusPoint Private Capital Group supported the firm in the fundraise, while Ropes & Gray acted as fund counsel.
