San Francisco-based private investment firm L2 Point Management has closed on L2 Point Opportunities I, its first structural equity fund, raising approximately $460M in total capital, inclusive of related co-investment vehicles.
In an October 21 press release, L2 said the fund surpassed its target size of $300M, raising a total of $312M in commitments from an investor base which included pension funds, fund of funds, and high-net-worth individuals. Fund I will seek to invest in late-stage growth companies across technology and technology-enabled consumer, healthcare, and media sectors.
PJT Park Hill served as placement agent for the fundraise, while Proskauer Rose LLP provided legal counsel.
