New York-based Kudu Investment Management has purchased a minority interest in healthcare secondaries manager Revelation Partners, Kudu announced in an October 22 press release.
Revelation, which oversees approximately $1.5B in capital commitments, will maintain its employee-controlled structure under the continued leadership of co-founders and managing partners Mike Boggs and Scott Halsted. The investment firm specializes in healthcare secondaries and operates out of Sausalito, CA.
Kudu, which specializes in providing capital solutions to asset and wealth management firms, said it has made investments in 28 such across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Seward & Kissel LLP served as Kudu’s legal advisor in the transaction, while Kirkland & Ellis LLP provided legal counsel to Revelation. Piper Sandler acted as financial advisor to Revelation.
