The Boston Retirement System (BRS) approved its 2025 private market pacing plan, targeting $100M for private credit, $90M for real estate, and $35M for private equity. It retained Grosvenor and Blackstone for its $350M hedge fund of funds allocation and plans to launch a private credit RFP in March. BRS also committed $10M to Platinum Equity Small Cap Fund II, its second buyout investment of the year. Howard County Master Trust set a $105M private market pacing plan across private equity, real estate, real assets, and private credit, aiming to maintain long-term policy benchmarks. LASERS allocated $100M to Linden Capital Partners Fund VI, reinforcing its private markets focus. San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund added $10M to Ullico Infrastructure Taxable Fund, reflecting a continued commitment to infrastructure investments.

RIA & Wealth Channel News

CW Advisors acquired $1.3B RIA Delta Financial, expanding its Mid-Atlantic presence. Bluespring Wealth Partners bought $406M Wisconsin-based RIA Charter Capital, leveraging succession planning tools for advisor growth. Waverly Advisors acquired $400M GGM Wealth Advisors, strengthening its Northeast footprint. OneDigital acquired BayBridge Capital’s retirement services division, marking its first wealth management purchase in 2025. Commonwealth Financial Network recruited Peoples & Co. Private Wealth Stewardship, adding $213M in assets from Morgan Stanley. Ameriprise Financial onboarded Simi Valley, CA-based advisors Mila and Roman Kisz from Edward Jones, bringing $100M in assets. Oxford Financial Group hired family office veteran Tania DeVries as a managing director in Grand Rapids, MI, bolstering high-net-worth client services.

Private Fund News

Mainsail Partners is raising $1.4B for its seventh fund, surpassing its $915M predecessor. Hamilton Lane launched its first Eltif 2.0 evergreen fund, offering European retail investors private market exposure. Nexa Equity aims to raise $393M for its second private equity fund, following its $330M debut vehicle. French VC firm Daphni closed €200M ($216M) for its Blue Fund, targeting 40 European startups focused on sustainability and innovation. PGIM’s Jennison Associates introduced Better Future Fund, a high-growth strategy aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Lazard and Arini Capital Management partnered to expand private credit offerings in EMEA, while Arini plans to launch a European Direct Lending strategy with support from Canadian pension manager BCI. Audax Private Equity is opening a Hong Kong office, appointing IR SVP Audrey Low to lead fundraising efforts in APAC.
