The Battle Creek Police & Fire Pension approved a motion to replace its current international manager Hartford International Opportunity fund with John Hancock Disciplined Value, according to recently published materials from its June 3 board meeting.
The international portfolio is currently made up of two funds including Hartford International and American Funds Europacific Growth. By replacing Hartford International with John Hancock Disciplined Value, the board said it hopes to further diversify the portfolio and maintain its balance between value and growth.
