Private markets investment firm Adams Street Partners announced in an October 28 press release that it captured $1.1B in committed capital on the final close of its 2024 Global Fund Program, on the run up to the fund program’s 30th anniversary next year.
The Chicago-based firm said the recent fund close marked an increase of 34% over last year’s vintage, further building on the three-decade fund series through deployments across multiple investment strategies, such as secondaries and co-investments, into a “targeted global portfolio” of private SMEs. The fund was backed by new and existing investors, including pension funds, qualified high-net-worth individuals, and endowments.
Adam Street said the goal of its Global Fund Program is to surpass public equity markets by 3% to 5%. The firm currently manages $60B in total AUM and has made over 560 direct company investments.
