1. SpartanNash Company - Merger
C&S Wholesale Grocers completed its $1.77 billion acquisition of SpartanNash, creating one of the largest food distribution companies in the United States with roughly $30 billion in annual sales. The merger enhances C&S’s national scale and supply chain efficiency, enabling it to better serve independent grocers and compete with major retail chains in the $1 trillion U.S. food-at-home market.
2. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk - Secondary Buyout
Leafgreen Capital and Gateway Partners acquired a 22.2% stake in Indonesia’s leading bakery company, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (Sari Roti), from an affiliate of KKR. The investment underscores confidence in Indonesia’s growing consumer sector and supports Sari Roti’s plans to accelerate growth, enhance innovation, and strengthen its position as the country’s top mass-market bread brand.
French alt-meat startup NxtFood, known for its ACCRO brand, raised $58 million (€49 million) in new funding led by Creadev, Roquette Ventures, Clay Capital, and IRD Invest to expand production and accelerate European growth. The investment will triple its manufacturing capacity, boost R&D in high-moisture extrusion, and support its goal of reaching profitability within 12–18 months as it scales its plant-based meat products across retail and foodservice channels.
4. Acclym (formerly Agritask) - Series B
CropX Technologies acquired Acclym (formerly Agritask), an agricultural intelligence company serving global food and beverage brands, to expand its enterprise-scale sustainability and supply chain solutions. The acquisition enhances CropX’s agronomic platform with advanced data and ESG analytics, strengthening its position as a leading provider of digital infrastructure for sustainable and regenerative agriculture.
Sesh+, a U.S.-based tobacco-free nicotine pouch brand, raised over $40 million in funding led by 8VC and Jack Link’s CEO Troy Link, with participation from Electric Feel Ventures and several strategic investors. The capital will support scaling production, expanding retail distribution, and driving innovation as Sesh+ aims to set a new quality standard in the fast-growing $49 billion nicotine pouch market.
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters raised $25 million in a bridge round from existing investors A91 Partners, Anicut, Verlinvest, and 12 Flags to expand retail operations, strengthen infrastructure, and enter new international markets such as Dubai and Japan. The premium coffee chain plans to accelerate its growth with a target of 800 stores and ₹2,000 crore in revenue within four years.
Slate Milk raised $23 million in a Series B round led by Foundership, the fund launched by Yasso’s cofounders, to accelerate its nationwide expansion and product innovation. The funding will help the high-protein beverage brand reach 100,000 distribution points by the end of 2025 and launch new flavors and higher-protein product lines across major U.S. retailers.
EcoSoul Home raised $20 million in a mix of equity and debt financing led by Accel, Bajaj Financial Securities, and other strategic investors to expand its sustainable home essentials business. The funding will enhance manufacturing across India and strengthen EcoSoul’s global retail presence as it scales its eco-friendly product portfolio across the U.S., U.K., Europe, GCC, and India.
Japan-based EF Polymer completed the second close of its Series B round, bringing total funding to $17.8 million to accelerate R&D and global expansion of its 100% bio-based super absorbent polymers. The financing, backed by a diverse group of corporate and impact investors, will support the company’s mission to scale sustainable water-retention solutions for agriculture and carbon neutrality worldwide.
10. Resbiotic Nutrition, Inc. - Series A
Resbiotic Nutrition raised $14.5 million, including an $8 million Series A led by Sororibus Capital and Biostack Ventures, to expand its science-backed Gut-X Axis health platform. The funding will support new product development, retail and ecommerce growth, and the scaling of its B2B formulations business focused on microbiome-based health solutions.
