TriGate Capital is aiming to raise $700M for its fifth real estate fund, according to a January 2 filing with the SEC.
The Dallas-based real estate investment manager said it has so far raised $17.6M for TriGate Property Partners V, thanks to investment commitments from four investors. It started the sale of the fund on December 20, 2024.
For its fourth property fund, TriGate Capital raised almost $514M. The San Francisco Employees' Retirement System was among the investors in TriGate Property Partners IV, according to Dakota data.
TriGate Capital's first three funds are already fully invested, while the fourth fund is still in investment period. The company's strategy is focused on the recapitalization and repositioning of commercial real estate assets and companies, it said on its LinkedIn profile.
