Philly Pension Board Expands Marquette Relationship

The City of Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement selected Marquette as a new investment consultant for the fund, according to recently published materials from a July 30 investment committee meeting. 

Marquette had served as general consultant to the board and will now serve as general investment consultant for the retirement system. 

Verus was also in consideration. 

According to Dakota data, the pension has $8.4B in assets under management.
