New Mexico SIC Commits $570M to Alts; Hires Alliance Bernstein for High Yield Search

The New Mexico State Investment Council disclosed seven recent commitments to alternatives totaling $570 million, according to minutes from the September investment council meeting.

Within private equity, $50 million was committed to  Arctos Keystone Partners Fund I, $50 million to TCG Labs Fund I, and $20 million to At One Ventures II.

In real estate, $100 million was committed to IPI Partners III, $100 million to Alterra IOS Venture III and $100 million to KKR Real Estate Partners IV. Lastly, in real assets, $150 million was committed to Copenhagen Infrastructure V. 

Additionally, the $47 billion SIC hired Alliance Bernstein for their Short Duration High Yield Search. 

Investment consultants, Townsend, Mercer, and RVK assisted with the investments.
