The New Bedford Contributory Retirement System has commenced a search for an open-end timber/farmland fund.
The pension said it currently has a $16M mandate for a global timber and farmland fund, but is not looking for publicly traded REIT Funds at this time. Proposals will be accepted until 1 pm EST on January 20, 2025. Consultant Segal Marcos is assisting in the search process.
The search is being conducted alongside its earlier issued RFP seeking a global multi-sector/unconstrained fixed income commingled/collective investment trust strategy for a $110M mandate due on January 8, as reported by Dakota on December 11.
