The Arkansas Teachers Retirement System has approved increasing their target allocation to fixed income.
The fixed income target allocation increased from 15% to 20%. As a result, the public equity target was decreased by 5% to 48%.
Additionally, a commitment of up to $500 million was recommended to be made to Baird Advisors Core Plus Bond Strategy.
General investment consultant, Aon assisted with the recommendations.
