London-based investment manager Blackmoor Investment Partners announced that Alex Savin has made an investment in the firm and concurrently joined it as a senior partner.
Savin brings extensive private equity experience primarily in Europe but also in the US, having previously led tech investor Chrome Capital before transitioning to Blackmoor in September, per his LinkedIn profile. Prior to Chrome Capital, he served as a consultant at Bain & Co.’s private equity practice in London and Boston.
With Savin’s addition, Blackmoor said it aims to “enhance its distinct private equity approach to public investments” and further strengthen returns for global investors with exposure in European markets.
