1. Air Lease Corporation - Take-Private / Public-to-Private
Air Lease Corporation will be acquired for $7.4 billion (about $28.2 billion including debt) by a consortium led by Sumitomo Corporation, SMBC Aviation Capital, Apollo, and Brookfield. Upon closing, it will be renamed Sumisho Air Lease and become one of the world’s largest aircraft lessors, supported by $12.1 billion in committed financing and deep capital and operational expertise.
Nscale raised $1.1 billion in Europe’s largest Series B to date to scale its global AI infrastructure and GPU deployment across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Backed by Aker, Dell, NVIDIA, and Fidelity, Nscale is building vertically integrated, AI-native data centers to power next-generation AI at global scale.
Figure raised $1 billion in Series C funding at a $39 billion post-money valuation, marking a major step toward scaling its general-purpose humanoid robots for real-world deployment. Led by Parkway Venture Capital with backing from NVIDIA, Intel, and others, the funding will accelerate production, AI training, and data collection to advance Figure’s embodied intelligence platform, Helix.
J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and other lenders are providing €750 million (≈ $879 million) in floating-rate debt to support Apollo Global Management’s acquisition of German cooling equipment firm Kelvion from Triton. The deal values Kelvion at ≈ €2 billion ($2.3 billion) and reinforces Apollo’s industrial-infrastructure strategy.
5. Carlson Wagonlit Travel - Carve-Out / Divestiture
Amex GBT completed its $540 million acquisition of CWT, expanding its global business-travel and meetings solutions platform. The deal brings CWT customers into Amex GBT’s travel and expense ecosystem, enhancing service offerings and driving long-term shareholder value.
ID.me raised $340 million across a Series E and recent credit facility, pushing its valuation above $2 billion as it expands its digital identity platform to combat AI-driven fraud. The funding will accelerate its secure digital wallet and infrastructure supporting over 152 million users and 65 government agencies.
Swiggy exited its stake in Rapido for ₹2,399.5 crore (≈ $270 million), securing about a ~2.5× return on its 2022 investment, with Prosus and WestBridge as key buyers. Swiggy is also restructuring Instamart into a subsidiary to sharpen focus and prepare for future fundraising in quick commerce.
8. Lila Sciences, Inc - Series A
Lila Sciences has raised a $235 million Series A round co-led by Braidwell and Collective Global to accelerate its mission of building scientific superintelligence, AI systems capable of autonomously conducting the full scientific method. With this funding, Lila will scale its AI Science Factories across Boston, San Francisco, and London, pushing the boundaries of discovery in life sciences, materials, and energy through its unified AI-powered software and robotics platform.
9. EMEA metering business - Strategic Acquisition
AURELIUS Private Equity agreed to acquire Landis+Gyr’s EMEA metering business for $215 million, a strategic carve-out covering electricity, gas, and thermal metering solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. AURELIUS plans to unlock growth and profitability through high-precision metering technology and operational support.
10. Dyna Robotics, Inc - Series A
Dyna Robotics raised $120 million in Series A funding led by RoboStrategy, CRV, and First Round Capital to accelerate development and deployment of its embodied AI robots. The DYNA-1 model is already proving commercial viability in real-world environments like hotels and restaurants, advancing toward scalable robotic autonomy and physical AGI.
