Texas Municipal Retirement Commits $2.56B

The Texas Municipal Retirement System disclosed four investments totalling $2.56 billion.

$600 million was allocated to Arrowstreet Global Equity. 

$1.71 billion was allocated to Northern Trust Fixed Income.

Two commitments were made to real estate. $125 million was allocated to both Virtus Real Estate Capital IV and Stockbridge Value Fund V. 

The $37 billion Retirement System has an actual and target allocation to public equity of 34.9% and 35%. The actual and target allocation to fixed income is 23% and 26% respectively. The actual and target allocation to real estate was 13.3% and 12% respectively.
