Indianapolis-based Invst announced it has acquired NS Capital, an Stamford, CT, RIA managing $297M in client assets as of March 31, 2024, and established the Invst Unity Pooled Employer Plan (PEP).
Invst founder Scott Jarred said in a statement that the acquisition will broaden the firm’s reach as businesses started recognizing 401(k) as an essential part of their employee benefit package.
In 2021, NS Capital established Unity 401(k) while Invst separately created MyInvst401k. With this acquisition, the Invst Unity PEP combines features such as investment and administrative fiduciary protection with low-cost institutional investments and minimal administrative requirements.
