Northern Trust Asset Management announced that former Wellington Managing Director Peter Wilke has joined the firm as its new head of tactical asset allocation.
In his new role, Wilke will lead a team of analysts using fundamental, macro, quantitative, and technical signals to produce macroeconomic research that informs the firm’s investment views market-moving factors such as growth, inflation, and economic policy.
Wilke previously worked as managing director and portfolio manager for nine years at Wellington. Prior to that, he served as portfolio manager for nine years at BlackRock.
