Kern County Commits $15M to Private Equity

Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association (KCERA) is making a $15 million commitment to private equity fund Longreach Capital Partners IV.  

Managed by the Longreach Group, the firm focuses on control buyouts based in Japan and in Greater China in the industrial and technology, consumer related, and business services sectors.

As of March 31, 2024, KCERA has a market value of $5.4 billion and target an allocation of 5% to private equity.
