The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) of Illinois has retained JP Morgan Asset Management and Man Numeric as managers for its 130/30 equity extension mandates.
The pension said it approved on December 7 JP Morgan as manager for the US portfolio and Man Numeric for non-US, pending contract negotiations. The 130/30 strategy is a new mandate under the pension’s traditional growth asset class.
As of the latest Dakota data, Illinois SURS oversees approximately $24.7B in aggregate plan assets.
