Hightower Advisors announced that it has made a strategic investment in Dechtman Wealth Management, a Denver-based RIA managing $800M in client assets, marking the firm’s sixth strategic investment in 2024.
Established in 1984, Dechtman provides comprehensive wealth management, including financial guidance, retirement income planning, tax and estate planning, and Social Security analysis. The firm’s eight-person team is led by founder Jordan Dechtman and sons Sam and Adam.
Prior to the Dechtman investment, Hightower most recently invested in $1.1B Wisconsin-based RIA Financial Planning and Information Services, as reported by Dakota on October 29. A week before that, parent Hightower Holding acquired a majority stake in investment consultant and OCIO solutions provider NEPC in a move that will allow its RIA network to leverage NEPC’s institutional research, alternative assets, and OCIO capabilities.
