The Teacher Retirement System of Texas disclosed Private Equity and Real Estate commitments made in the month of June.
In Private Equity, $10 million was committed to growth fund 10T DAE 3.0, $75 million was committed to buyout fund Oakley CapitalV-B1, $100 million was committed to Elliot Alto Co-Investor Aggregator, and $210 million was committed to buyout fund EQT X.
In real estate, the $200 billion retirement system committed $300 million to opportunistic real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners X. Staff also disclosed two $10 million real estate co-investments in Mirai Co-Invest and Kona Co-Invest, both managed by PAG Investment Advisors.
As of December 31, 2021, private equity represented 16.8% of the total portfolio. The private equity interim target allocation is 17.2% Real Estate represented 13% of the portfolio while the interim target was 12.8%.
