Investment Research Analyst
We are Seeking:An experienced and analytical Investment Research Analyst to enhance our team. The Investment Research Analyst will analyze a variety of data sources Dakota has collected as well as external sources to derive insights valuable to our Dakota Marketplace members as well as to identify potential private investment firms and strategies for our fundraising team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform market research and analysis
- Create industry and investment strategy specific research reports
- Assist in idea generation, source investment manager relationships through networks, market research and independent analysis
- Collaborate with senior members of the investment team to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Corroborate with sales team with institutional client interactions
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience as a investment research analyst across multiple asset classes
- Investment manager sourcing and diligencing experience
- Superior verbal and demonstrated written communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of analyzing data to tell a compelling story
- Desire to join a smaller team with a “yes” mentality as it relates to taking on multiple responsibilities
- Detail oriented and possess strong analytical, due diligence, and problem-solving skills
- Undergraduate or graduate degree from a leading institution with evidence of strong academic success
